About Us

Our story

A new work in the Rocky Mountains, planted to reach visitors and locals alike with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Founded December 2024

Planted in the heart of the Rockies

Summit Bible Baptist Church was founded in December 2024 with a clear purpose: to shine the light of the Gospel in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

Located within the beautiful Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado, our church is uniquely positioned in one of the most scenic and visited alpine destinations in the United States. Copper Mountain is known for its naturally divided terrain, world-class skiing and snowboarding, vibrant village atmosphere, and year-round outdoor recreation that draws visitors from across the nation and around the world.

In this setting, Summit Bible Baptist Church was established to reach both visitors and locals alike. Our desire is that those who hear the Gospel here will carry it with them as they return home, spreading the good news far beyond the mountains.

Our Vision

To be a lighthouse in the mountains, becoming one of the largest supporters of Bible-believing missionaries reaching underserved nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

Summit Bible Baptist Church exists to glorify God through sound biblical teaching, Christ-centered worship, and faithful evangelism. We are committed to:

Preaching and teaching the Word of God as found in the King James Bible.
Encouraging believers to grow spiritually and live according to biblical principles.
Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the local community and beyond.
Providing a place of fellowship, prayer, and service for all who seek the truth.

Church Planters & Board of Directors

Bro. Ezer and Sis. Liberty Pineda

Bro. Ezer and Sis. Liberty Pineda are our church planters and the board of directors of Summit Bible Baptist Church. They have also been instrumental in planting three churches in the Philippines, where they have nurtured and discipled believers.

Their experience in church planting and mission work has shaped their commitment to spreading the Gospel and establishing churches grounded in Biblical truth. Summit Bible Baptist Church is the next step in this journey of faith — a new work dedicated to reaching souls, strengthening believers, and glorifying the Lord in Copper Mountain and beyond.

Ezer and Libay are still serving the ministry full-time and enjoying their family time with four adult children and their spouses, and seven grandchildren.
